  6. Installation of BT Install:
  7. ---------------------------

  9. Copy the downloaded files to a directory (C:\Temp for example), 
  10. start Windows and choose the command File/Execute.
  11. The command line is

  13.     C:\Temp\Install

  16. then press OK.

  19. Now BT Install will be installed. More informationen is available in the Online-help.

  23. Changes in version V1.02:

  26.   1. In the Resource WorkShop (RW) all resources have deactivated LOADONCALL      and DISCARDABLE. Therefore the read-errors occured during 
  27.      multiple diskette installation are avoided.

  29.   2. The informationfile will be store temporary in the Windows Temp 
  30.      Directory. By this approach the INF-file is required only at the 
  31.      first installation disk.
  32.  
  33.   3. The logfile is named always BTInst.Log and is stored in the Windows
  34.      Temp Direcory (with a random generated name via GetTempFileName()).
  35.      After successful installation (ok or not) the logfile is copied to
  36.      the programdirectory (as BTInst.Log).

  45.   1. If the file to be installed already exists, BT Install
  46.      retrieves the file date/time information. The user of the install
  47.      software gets information on compare results (older/newer/equal) and
  48.      may choose (if activated via ?) the action (overwrite/skip) for this
  49.      file.
